Meet the Dispute Resolution Team
Alan is Head of the Dispute Resolution team at Curwens, with well over thirty years experience in this sector.
His caseload includes major contract disputes, property disputes, professional negligence claims, defamation. He also deals with claims for major personal injury cases – including fatal accidents and catastrophic injury – coverage and transactional issues and he and his team act for some of Europe’s major insurers.
He has achieved an enviable reputation within the UK and European Insurance sector. He is a member of ERA (the Academy of European Law) and is regularly invited to give lectures to European Insurers on the workings of the English legal system.
In his spare time, Alan is keen on keeping fit, walking and his other interests include the performing arts.
She is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), the Association of Women Solicitors and she is also a Board Director of the North London Chamber of Commerce with particular responsibility for networking events. She sits as a member of the University of Hertfordshire School of Law Professional Advisory Committee.
Norma gets involved with many local projects and is also a volunteer supporter of the Nightingale Community Hospice Trust, a charity for the people of Enfield supporting those living with Cancer. She is particularly involved in Fundraising and Publicity. Apart from that, she spends any spare time with her family, enjoys walking in the Peak District and is a member of the Sherlock Holmes Society.
Adrian is in the Dispute Resolution Team at the Enfield office. He has been a litigator for almost 30 years. He has a wealth of experience in many forms of dispute resolution, having had his own firm for many years before joining Curwens.
Adrian has expertise in contract disputes, property disputes – residential, commercial and Landlord & Tenant – employment law, personal injury and professional negligence claims. He is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association (PNLA). He deals with first-tier tribunal claims for residential lease extensions when he is not litigating cases in the County Court or High Court and is no stranger to the Court of Appeal or the Supreme Court!
In the field of professional negligence, Adrian specialises in pursuing claims against negligent solicitors, barristers, accountants, architects, surveyors and financial advisors. He acts on behalf of members of several UK Trade Unions and Work Associations, Estate and Letting Agents, Management Companies and he deals with Legal Expense Insurance Claims. He prides himself on having a substantial, longstanding client following, based upon word of mouth recommendations.
Outside of work, Adrian enjoys the theatre having originally trained in dance and drama. He is a twitter fanatic (@BoulterAdrian) and loves chocolate cake.
Patricia has been a solicitor in commercial and civil litigation since 2002 and has previously worked for "Which?" where she advised on a range of various consumer and small business disputes.
Patricia's areas of experience include contract disputes, insurance litigation, consumer rights, property litigation. She has also lectured on her specialist topics and is used to dealing with the media during her time with "Which".
She is very much involved in the local community and networking groups, often doing presentations on her specialist subjects.
Away from the office, she keeps fit and enjoys spending time with her young family.
