Sarah qualified as a lawyer in 2002 and has over 22 years of experience in dealing with all aspects of Family Law. She qualified as one of the first Chartered Legal Executive Advocates in 2010 and is authorised to appear in all Family Proceedings. Sarah went on to qualify as an All-Issues Family Mediator in 2012 and obtained accredited status with the Family Mediation Council in 2019.

Sarah has specialist experience and knowledge of all areas of childcare law, including Private Law disputes between parents, some of which have involved the permanent removal of children from the jurisdiction and all aspects of Public Law proceedings to include placement order proceedings and Special Guardianship. Sarah is experienced in matters concerning domestic abuse and injunctions and is as an All Issues Family Mediator. She has regularly conducted mediations associated with divorce and finances as well as cohabitation disputes and matters relating to children. She regularly advises clients in respect of relationship breakdowns, including divorce, cohabitation disputes, and financial remedy proceedings.

As a member of Resolution, Sarah is keen to resolve issues in a non-confrontational way. She has a holistic approach to situations and works tirelessly for her clients, ensuring the very best outcomes for them.

Sarah prides herself in her down to earth approach. Offering clients advice in straightforward language but also with sympathy and kindness.

Sarah has regularly represented parents, grandparents and other family members in proceedings. She has represented clients at all levels of the family court system and has experience of dealing with clients with mental health issues and learning difficulties and have dealt with cases where she has been instructed by the Official Solicitor.

Achievements & Accreditations

Sarah commenced training in 1998 and qualified as a Legal Executive in June 2002. She went on to become a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in July 2005 before obtaining an Advocacy Certificate to gain further rights in the Family Court, qualifying as one of the first Legal Executive Advocates (family) in October 2010.

Sarah qualified as an All Issues Mediator in 2012 and obtained accredited status with the Family Mediation Council in 2019.

Sarah is a member of Resolution and the Family Mediation Council.

About Sarah

Sarah has lived in Hertfordshire for most of her life and knows the local area well.

She has a very busy family life, having 2 young children, a husband and a dog to look after so likes to spend as much time away on holiday as she is able to. In her previous life she was very active, enjoying boot camp and football.
