It is welcomed by many tenants obviously safe in the thought that they will not be homeless at least until 11th January 2021 when this regulation ceases to be effective.
This is only the case for the majority of possessions but does not cover enforcing possession against trespassers and where an order for possession has been made on some specific grounds covered in the regulations.
This is a relief for Landlords who are also suffering the consequences of the ongoing restrictions as a result of the pandemic.
