Kim Hobbs

Kim joined Curwens as Practice Manager in May 2007, having previously held a similar role in another Herts. law firm for 4 ½ years.

An experienced business and marketing manager, Kim’s career features marketing and management in the charity and professional sectors.  At some point in his career he diverted, in order to attain Health & Safety qualifications, (he says he knows everyone will call him a ‘nerd’!).

Kim’s top priority right now is to ensure that Curwens achieves the Law Society’s coveted Lexcel quality mark by the Summer of 2008.  He says: “For a sizeable firm like Curwens, the strict standards of Lexcel are quite a challenge but I am delighted with the attitude and application of staff and we are nearly there.”
Kim is married to Jo (a Day Care Manager for a children’s centre) and father to two boys, both at secondary school.  He is also Vice-Chair of Governors for a local Church of England Primary School in Hemel Hempstead. 

Kim is a fervent Leeds United fan.  He says the team deserves Championship football next season but is not foolish enough to predict anything whilst lawyers as well as actual football are presently deciding their fate!
