Stuart has extensive experience of dealing with all aspects of relationship breakdown including Divorce & Separation and disputes between unmarried cohabitants.

Stuart specialises particularly in financial disputes involving Owner Manager / Director Shareholders, family businesses and in high value financial disputes. He also has considerable experience in the special considerations which arise when there are issues concerning children.

Stuart is a member of Resolution (formerly the SFLA) and subscribes to its Code of Practice promoting a constructive and conciliatory approach towards relationship breakdown. www.resolution.org.uk

• Ancillary relief claim involving shares and other assets in a business structure where the assets were circa £5m
• Ancillary relief claim involving family business assets of £2m.
• Complex cohabitation claims involving specialist application of trusts law and equitable principles where one party owned property that the ‘couple’ held in dispute.
