Rob Pearson qualified in October 1980 and has been a partner in Curwens since 1987. Having for many years dealt with a broad range of litigation work, including family law, he has in recent years concentrated mainly on three areas. These are landlord and tenant litigation, property litigation generally (including boundary disputes) and negligence cases against solicitors, usually in relation to property issues. Rob has given talks on various issues involved in such types of cases. He has extensive experience of possession work, forfeiture of commercial leases, and dilapidations claims and acts for a number of regular landlord clients.
Like all our litigation / dispute resolution team, Rob is a pro-active supporter of Alternative Dispute Resolution, with a strong interest in Mediation in particular.
Away from the office, Rob loves to watch rugby and cricket, to go walking in his native Hertfordshire or further afield, and is an avid reader of detective fiction. He is also fascinated by the First World War, and has given talks on it, as well as acting as a guide to small groups on visits to the battlefields of France and Belgium.
