Simon Moffat
Simon graduated with a 2:1 honours degree in engineering surveying from Nottingham Trent University in 1994. He worked with an engineering consultancy firm for one year before making the decision to retrain as a solicitor.
Simon trained at Barlow Lyde & Gilbert in the city and on qualification moved to the corporate team at Taylor Vinters in Cambridge. Simon then joined Howe Roche & Waller in Stevenage in May 2005 as a company and commercial lawyer.
Simon joined the company and commercial team of Curwens in April 2006 as a senior solicitor based in Curwens’ Hoddesdon office. Simon specialises in share and asset acquisitions and disposals and general company and commercial work.
Simon’s leisure interests include playing and watching football and playing golf. Simon is also an amateur whisky connoisseur and a member of the National Trust for Scotland.
