Peter is a highly experienced family lawyer specialising in advising clients on all aspects of family disputes and child related issues. He is a member of the Solicitors Family Law Association which encourages a non-confrontational and conciliatory approach to resolving matrimonial and co-habitation breakdown. He lectures to other professionals on developments in family law, focusing on the effects of marriage breakdown in family businesses.

Stuart Hughes has extensive experience of dealing with all aspects of relationship breakdown including Divorce & Separation and disputes between unmarried cohabitants and in realtion to disputes concerning Children.
Stuart is an accredited Family Law specialist.
Stuart specialises particularly in financial disputes involving Owner Manager / Director Shareholders, family businesses and in high value financial disputes. He also has considerable experience in the special considerations which arise when there are issues concerning children.

Amanda is a specialist family solicitor with many years of experience. She is keen to help clients find a practical and fair resolution to their issues – avoiding court proceedings where possible. Amanda is a trained Collaborative Lawyer, which enables her to offer the collaborative approach to her clients – essentially using round table meetings to negotiate settlements rather than litigate matters through the court.As a member of Resolution, Amanda agrees to conduct family cases in a reasonable and responsible manner, but will not hesitate to use emergency court action if needed to protect a client’s position.Amanda is on the SRA Family Law Panel and the Hertfordshire Law Society Council. She also helped to set up both the Hertfordshire Collaborative Pod (a collection of lawyers, IFAs and family counsellors who want to help clients resolve family and relationship issues in a dignified way), and the Hertfordshire branch of Resolution.When not advising clients Amanda enjoys travel, making jam and bell-ringing….just don’t call her a campanologist !
